Thank you to the above individuals who gave of their time and effort to make AER VA the success it is today!
New for 2010 Would you like to be able to contact other professionals in the field of vision in the State of Virginia? Ideas are in the works to create an on-line database which would allow current members to search for other vision professionals in Virginia. Information shared coule be either personal or work related information (phone number, email address, job title, etc.) This would be a benefit currently unavailable to members. The information would be user and password protected and available to all chapter members. Information on the database may also include the type of work a member does (O&M, TVI, Rehab) or the member would like to do. This information may be availalbe to hiring agencies in teh state, however more research would have to be done prior to this aspect of the on-line directory being implemented. Please contact Valery Herring at Valh204@aol.com with your thoughts regarding this proposal. Other NEW information: 2011 State AER Conference will be March 2-4. Please contact Julie Lee Kay at julie@hadley.edu with questions or to volunteer!
